Understanding costs

What a quote should tell you, and why no two match.

Price is a fair question, but a number alone tells you very little. Two quotes for "20 veneers" can describe very different treatments. We don't publish price lists; we explain what should be inside one.

Nine things that drive the price

The dentistSpecialists and experienced clinicians usually charge more, and are often worth it for complex work.Ask: who treats me, and what is their specialty?
ComplexityGum treatment, root canals or bite correction before the main work change the plan and the price.Ask: what preparatory work does my case need?
Number of teethThe biggest single multiplier, and the easiest place for over-treatment to hide.Ask: why this number, and what if fewer were treated?
MaterialsDifferent ceramics and composites vary in cost, look and durability.Ask: which material, by brand and product?
LaboratorySkilled ceramists cost more. The lab shapes the final look as much as the dentist.Ask: in-house or external lab, and who is the technician?
Implant systemImplant brands differ in price, research history and availability of parts abroad.Ask: which system, and can my dentist at home service it?
Bone graftingSometimes needed before implants. Often quoted separately, or only after the exam.Ask: is grafting likely, and is it included?
Additional proceduresExtractions, temporaries, sinus lifts and night guards add up.Ask: what is not included in this quote?
Number of visitsImplants usually need a second trip. Travel and time off are part of the real cost.Ask: how many trips, and are follow-ups included?

Why is treatment often cheaper in Türkiye?

Mostly because running a practice costs less: rent, salaries and laboratory work are priced for the local economy. A lower price does not by itself mean lower quality, and a higher one does not guarantee better work. What matters is who treats you, with what, and whether the plan is right for you.

Paying safely

  • Get the written, itemized plan before paying any deposit.
  • Ask how the deposit is refunded if the plan changes after your exam.
  • Paying by credit card can give you more protection than a bank transfer; check with your card issuer.
  • Ask for invoices in the clinic's legal name, itemized by treatment.
